Master Skill, Twisting Slash = Sucks

After realizing the Attack Success Rate has nothing to do with the amount of damage a character can deliver against any monster. I was so eager to reach Twisting Slash Skill Level. But to my dismay the figures it added to defined damage is useless!!! Twisting Skill Level 1 Sucks! Useless! Impotent! INUTIL!

Maybe at PVP or against low level mobs it can be slightly effective, but for the purpose of hunting against High Level Mobs at La Cleon or at Vulcanus or at Kalima Map Seven, it's just a figure of shit!

With too much dismay, I can even hear those developers whispering "You haven't reach Level 5" WTF!

Skill Mastery At Second Level

After a few weeks of Away from the Keyboard mode, I was able step foot at the edge of first level of skill mastery under Bravery. A few days from I would set foot on the Second Level, after this it will then hasten the Skill Mastery Grinding even on AFK mode (Hoping).

Yeah, it takes time especially when your out there on a lazy afk mode without any active party. But I am not into grinding very much, I just want to savor the taste of the game while it still last! Good Luck to all players at Master Skill grinding

A Thing or Two Equal Zero

When Master Skills Came to Give Power to the Heroes of the Continent of the Legends. Everyone was ecstatic! And one those happy hero role player was me, but I was more concerned of it's actual effect. While most Player Killer were rejoicing at the first level, me and my team where dismayed. Because as a hero build for hunting we didn't feel any effect from this Master Skill Level!

Attack Success Rate and Attack Rate where Points to work hard for nothing. While some say that the Master Skills are really designed for Player vs Player atmosphere, I won't buy that. And some say that their is a certain level to feel it's effect against high level monsters, well lets wait for that. anyway I am a few bars away on such certain level! But until I don't feel that expected outcome of this eyes and heart breaking grinding! This Master Skill feature is a piece of SHIT!

After doing some Carpet replacement at snowy and chilling realm of Devias three, maybe its time to chase the cats tail to cast the dye of a heroes turning point,or should I say a climbing point, after all it will only take five more levels to be able to acquire the required level to infiltrate the barracks of Balgass and kill his neophyte minions!

That sounds a lot of task to accomplish. But it is actually a lot easier than being hunted by Vangers at the Volcanic realm of Vulcanus and grinding for the third class skills, the Master skills. And the transformation to Blade Master is a pain in the back for an ideal player like me. The illusive third wing, the Storm Wing is so expensive and waiting for its price to flank is like waiting for a distant star to get closer with a naked eye!

Hmmm.... so much for a day dreaming, its time to get back into the real world and and make a plan on how to take some advantageous moves with those online offers at the webstore. I have to find a way to acquire a good wing of storm for the master level quest.

Concept
It used to be a popular arena of underworld.
However all the beautiful buildings and monuments were burned down when the volcano erupted all out of sudden.

What’s left now are ashes and blacked rocks which now under surveillance of gatekeeper who has become a stone along the monsters who survived magma.

Background Story
Lorencia where fencing was greatly practiced and its mastery was at the peak, people loved to show off their skills. But this was a privilege reserved only for aristocrats who could afford. Those poor commoners who had neither wealth nor rights had to go underground to fight against each other.

These lack of means resulted in extremity whereby winners will get recognition and praises, the ones who lost had nothing but cold death.

One day deep in this underground arena, torrents of lava poured out and melt down everything. Now what’s left there is the enraged corps of gladiators who still walk around crying out of bitterness.

Vulcanus

Vulcanus is divided into safety zone and hunting zone. (safety zone is the circled area)
There is no penalty for PK and PVP in the hunting zone. (
No need to Ctrl+Click to attack other character. Mouse-over+Click the character is all you need.
However, in case of PKing party or same guild members, Ctrl key is needed.
Gladiator’s Honor buff will allow you to get high-level items from killing monsters.

Arena
A battle ground for characters. A battle will be available after moving to Arena.
When asking for duel in Vulcanus in other maps, warping fee will be deducted automatically as being moved to Vulcanus.
When the duel ends, characters will be summoned back to the safety zone in Vulcanus and the winner will receive ‘Gladiator’s Honor’.

How to use Vulcanus

-Once you reach level 30 (level 20 for Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord), press M key and then click Vulcanus to enter.
-Warping fee is 15,000 zen.
-When the duel ends, you will be warped back to the safety zone in Vulcanus.
You cannot go back by walking.

Modification of Duel System
System Basics

All the duels will be redirected to Arena from now on.
Observer mode is now available, and also the winner will be given a chance to acquire rare items in Vulcanus.

What’s new?

Duel menu is now added to pop-up menu (Alt + right click)
When asked (or request) to duel, you will be moved to Arena automatically.
Up to 4 teams per server can duel at the same time.

The winner will receive '‘Gladiator’s Honor’'.
If you want to watch the on-going game, you may go to 'Doorkeeper Titus'(122,135) in the safety zone of Vulcanus.

The words website development is not alien to me, but is one of the IT course that I wanted to get hooked with. But as time pass by most of my vacant time was spent in online gaming and my mountainbiking sports. Though the excitement is not as hypher as it was once it was rumored, still players are thankful that it finally came to reality. I just hope hardcore core players will enjoy this new patch even with the aching lag from strings and servers!

Most of the time, online games attract hardcore gamers, not only testers but also pro gamers from all walks of life. I am not a pro gamer or a game tester, just two step behind those two geeks. I don't spend too much money for my game, just enough time to get good in game items or finish up a few quest. It is sweeter to play the game if you can feel the hardships, failures during the grinding, hunting and upgrading. The fun is always there when ups and downs collide in a realm of fictions.

But not all the time one can enjoy their game in a never ending quest for your luxurious items and the goal to be the number one in all areas of the game, because there are times that after playing my game for a long period of time it sends me to a world of optical aches, Ouch! Its like telling yourself, "I think my eyes needs a new eyewear", or maybe I have to get something to eat. You may have ingested too much in game potion that you forgot that you live on earth and you need some time to rest your eyes and fill in your stomach to stay focus and alert in the game.

I have been playing my favorite game Mobius - MU, Counter Strike and Command and Conquer Generals - Zero Hour - Version 1.4 with 007 MOD and surfing the internet with my favorite social network website, at the nearest internet cafe ever since I lived the life of a bachelor freelance. Me and my friends including the owner of the establishment usually spend time together talking about our favorite games. But yesterday was something different. It was a talk over a few bottles of our favorite beer and designs of flooring tiles. The owner asked our ideas and suggestion about flooring designs and Flooring installation. He wanted to know where to find a good carpenter who can do the job and at the same the service is not too expensive so as to put more funds on the materials.

After a few hours of tipsy brain storming with the gamers about their ideas and suggestions about the colors, brands, and designs of the tiles to be used, while ingesting to much alcoholic beverage. We were all fucked up to talk about the floor tiles, masonry and carpentry and little as we know it. It was already a talk head straight to boys talk!

This 3D game caught my attention at facebook since they claim that they are the first 3D game on facebook. And after while I gave it a try with a list of pros and cons. ^^

Although the concept of taking this 3d game into facebook is awesome, there are some points in game that makes it not really good like:

1. Tall trees or mountains and buildings blocks the line of sight of player.
2. Since a player cannot rotate the map, it is really a trouble of looking for your opponent when they hide under the trees.
3.... The movement of the character is too slow!
4. the cool down of the skills is really a bad idea most especially if it takes too long. I agree that it is needed, but i suggest that it should only be applied with the major or ultimate skills.

I wanted to lead my own guild ever since I had the taste of a maximum level character at the continent of legends. But since Dark Lords are the perfect guild masters, which is a character not of my taste, I just leaved it behind for those who loved that white haired old man. But still having a guild to lead is still a sweet taste of leadership and designing your own emblem for all your members to wear is so much fun. You might even want to hire or pay a Logo Design Company to design an emblem for your guild, that would be very nice and sweet. But that would be a little extravagant, unless your a "big fat cat" and having no problem with extra dough to spend for an online game.

Being a guild master in the continent of legends is like leading an army of armor and blades and bows and magics. Using each of characters abilities and purposes to conquer the castle at the valley of Loren. A castle the grants your Guild an entry to the Land of Trials where it is the only place you can find the powerful ancient items. Not only that, inside the Kings Throne is a place where the castle lord gains access to the Lord Mix. It is a sort of magical transmutation which results to a random item with a powerful combination of bonus options.

I have encountered this bug many times from the Tahr Server since the launch of Season 4. And I guest it is here to stay. The only thing is, if experts will find a way to abuse this bug and use it for imbalance purpose, that would be a pain in the ass for Mobius!

I was waiting for this new free to play trial of Blizzard but sad to say I was late!!! The moment when I was about to try the game, the slots for SEA players where already taken!!!

Currently battle net is like a Garena online game you need to buy a ticket to get into the server to play multiplayer online. The trouble is you also need to buy the game so as you can play the game. It's like a double charge at the beginning, but I doubt this type of multiplayer game mode will last. Just like most of the players at garena they find playing LAN with their foes and friends side side in one location better!

I know it, you may disagree with me , but the thing is not all good players have the capacity to invest on a very good PC plus a very good internet connection....

My current Goal before reaching Lvl 380 is that elusive Crimson Glory Shield with 3 sockets plus Luck and Plus Skill! -_-! Damn Shield! Most players says it is ok for a shield without skill, but for me No way it is a plus if you are a player who wants to grab the switch during a castle siege event!

A good shield for a switcher with a very good party of buffer, sweller and summoner (DL) is a WOW factor! So gtg gotta get the fckn sheld!

Yesterday a gamer sent me a PM regarding rare items, he was so anxious on spending PHP for his character's armor set and weapons. He then decided to ask me about my stand regarding such issue. Reading the first few lines of his message, I already have an answer and in fact not even reading any of those lines, I already know what to say when it comes with PHP.

Either legal or illegal trading where PHP or E-points is concerned, I completely disagree. After a few discouraging experience with Mobius services I no longer support E-points or PHP trading 100% because of some personal reasons.

First of all Online Games like our old favorite MU is protected by copyrights which is more powerful than human rights. Secondly, not unless you are aware of the end users license agreement, spending time and money with your favorite game is a pain in the ass and heart when it comes to investment return. The moment the game collapse its one HELL of a bye bye love. You are just spending on something you cannot own.

Yeah for sure you have controls over your account but that is just a fraction of the entire truth. When the whole realm goes down, so as your account like a bubble that pops off to no where. Most copyrights entitles only the end user to access their account and to use what they called service only, but have no right over the account and virtual items in-game. It is like paying for a house that cannot be yours!

The next time you saw a fully loaded character with WTF items, don't get yourself to carried away with envy, they are just wealthy enough to rent those items. Just enjoy the game with how much a free enjoyment can take you! :) Happy gaming and may the power of Financial Education be with you!

Bug Trading

Their are still a lot of players who are using the bug trading, and the worst they use a newly created character and delete it afterward. Inexperienced players may fall victim against this trade scammers. To all buy and seller characters never trade huge amount of items with low level characters, preferably lvl 10.

I hope Mobius will find the solution on this problem because if they can't protect their subscribers from this another bug (first is the pk bug and others....) how will we protect ourselves.

Where would you rely if the authority will just send you a message of disclosure policy?

I played the game over and over. And I find the game nice, the gfx and the sound fx are great. I only found one problem with the game. The camera view control, I suggest that they should put a alternate keyboard camera view control. The combination of Alt + mouse control is not good in time of chaos and sometimes can cause conflict in the overall strategic control.

With this problem I still find Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour more exiting to play even thou the gfx are not that refined in a closer look. Generals Zero Hour is still best if you are looking for a fast game play for a modern RTS.

Most of the time Online Games prohibit selling of in-game items into RWM (Real World Money) like our first love RPG MU, because they claim that it is protected by copyrights. Yeah its true, but to must players playing any game should not only have fun but also find profit in a way that will not put gaming hobby into one's liabilities columns everytime a player receives his paycheck.

It is a fact that these games are protected by law, but is it also a fact that the end users are protected by law? Maybe at some instance or at some country. Talking about copyrights, is their right are really right? Experts says copyrights are more expensive than human rights because it is profitable and less tedious. Yeap that is the reason - PROFIT.

We cannot deny the fact that gaming industry has stepped up higher because of the internet application. And because of this also the problems that are related with online gaming are getting more complex and some are irreversible just like the PK bug of our favorite game MU.

After Spending 500B worth of Jewel of Life for an item's additional option that all lead to failure(like turning a SWB and other items into smoke). Die Hard is at rage, never even succeeded at +8 AO. It was an item to be used in making a Third Class Wings. Time and effort was wasted starting from the Feather of Sheyt ever since Season 4 was launched! Online Games are sprouting like mushroom in a rate that probably doubles every year. The big question is how does this games can sustain its fame and profit. One of the best example is our favorite game MU. Five years ago, every player can experience a server lag and boot out due to the big population of the players (with respect to the technologies available). Currently? The a big size of the player population are tossed around in a bowl of a game with the same concept on different approach(MU: Grudge, Zypher, Phoenix, Fortress)!

To my own extent of analysis, the following reasons are vital to a game's sustainability:

1. Effects, Graphics
2. Experience Rates
3. Item Drop Rates
4. Availability of profit (Either cash/kind or in-game items etc...) for ideal players*
5. Promotional Events
6. Security and Manageability (Includes in game response of both technical and non-tech staff)

Mu Mobius - Overunned

A kid at the shop wanted to play MU Grudge. I was reluctant to install the game because it will add to my never ending list of maintenance schedule at the command center, but since it is an opportunity that will increase the daily yield of the shop, I installed the game at one of the available units. 24 hours later MU Grudge from neighboring shop are pouring in at the Crywolf to play MU Grudge that forced me to install the game in all of the available units. 48 hours after most MU Rance player are now convert! :( Damn I'm grinding all alone now!

Just recently I claim my price from Mobius after being qualified from one of their promo last year. It quite late and frustrating since I was expecting for a free game time for my Titan Character. I won 2 pieces of Gemstone and 50 pieces of a rare health potion. At first I wanted to use it on the upcoming siege, but later on decided to keep it as a trophy and remembrance of good old days at MU. :)

Inventory Bug with NPCs

I have been experiencing this inventory bug ever since the launch of season4, and I though someone already made a report regarding this issue. And since this problem still exist, I'm gonna narrate my story before someone else will make a stupid mistake as stupid as a idiot in a rush!

Checking your inventory for your items before interfacing with NPCs is not a good habit to develop, you might end up selling your precious items for just a few zen. Though before this might happen, NPCs will ask you, if you really want to sell such item. But what if an idiot pilot like Goblin the monster is in a hurry selling his looted rubbishes....

Pouch of Blessings

It's more than a week since the expiration of the vacation Experience Bonus, but still we can find this headless like monsters that roam around the realm of the Continent of Legend. I hope that this monsters will stay for good, it has a big impact in the level up rate of characters especially when there is not bonus Xp that yields up to 60k of XP points and it also gives players the chance to loot useful jewels in times when drop rate is F**** low!

Avoiding BIR while hunting in LOT. Sign of the Lord is so scarce today, I can't loot enough in afk mode. I gotta loot something in here that can fund my tax obligation in my alliance.... Shhhhh..... keep quite or the authority will find me ^^

Box Office Hit

Today's Castle Siege was a bit of a hammered ship with tons of missiles and stray bullet holes. Yeah we outnumbered the opposing alliance. And the result a success with the last gate and defense statue still standing! :)

And everyone in our alliance was happy and currently are having a snake session inside the Land of Trials.

My First Gold Medal 2010

At last after a week long AFK, just got my first Gold Medal ^^, I wonder how other AFKed characters at the Command Center can lot more than 5 medals a day while I have 1 in a week T_T???

I am silent most of the time, I find it tiresome to put an effort in pressing the keys and that is why I am always at AFK mode, but there are times that the chat box is on fun mode even with useless or nonsense topic just like today.

The chat box is also the fastest and easiest way to call the attention of the authorized personnel, just like today. A character just learned his lesson after turning my character into a dancing top on a ripple. :) Hayzzz.... charge to experience guys and never try to steal a spot from your co-members in the whole alliance. Much better from other players too, thou I admit I always take spots from unknown characters outside the Land of Trials. :)) TC and Happy Gaming

Gold Medal

The usual script, after the Heart Love here comes the Gold Medal. But as far as players like me are concerned, I don't find Gold medal useful. It takes 24 hours to loot one on a AFK character and the chances of getting good drop from this event is near to zero! But as far as Irony is concern, it's better than nothing!

A kid the other week ask me to install Grudge MU at the shop, because he is kinda quitting with Mobius's MU. "Thou it is free to play, the experience and drop rates are unbearable" - as a kid reasoned out, I gave it a consideration. But lately most of the Rance MU players are now migrating to Grudge! T_T I think I'm quite alone now!

Hair Gap

Yesterday I attended the weekly event, the Castle Siege. It wasn't full time though, but I enjoyed the game even with a PC on a turtle's back. But the PC problem was not the lean of the meat, like any other meal the good stuff is always at the last part. Just like yesterday, a minute left and the green light lit like it was never lit for 48 years! We lost the Castle even though that victory is just a minute away!!!

Golden Mobs - Kidnapped

Early this noon while half awake, I paid a visit at the forums to check for something new. And something pulled me from the land of dreams into the the land of mars. Dam! A thread stating that those big and small good golden mobs are being kidnapped!

This is a very sad and disappointing news, players who cannot withstand the competition of hunting at K7 and other bloody realm will have a lesser or no more chance to acquire desired jewels or items.

Gosh.... I hope Game Masters can be and ideal player at some state in time! T_T

Bugs or Hacks or ....!

Once is enough, two is for too much. Me and my team have experience this kind of warp bug ever since we started hunting Kalima seven!

A character that has freshly entered the realm suddenly warps in to Devias, a Kalima seven party where characters just standing by and waiting for orders suddenly warp out to Devias, a character while trading for pots or looting for pots are suddenly warp out to Devias, characters attacking other characters hunting at Kalima 7 suddenly warp out to Devias!!!

This is too much!!! And I mean too much!!! This problem has been around since the beginning of the Kalima7 as a hunting and a battleground where the competition for good items from Kundon is at the bottleneck!!! Does the authority knows this, do they have any idea about this and how annoying this bug or whatsoever has made players decide to stop or even made others quit of hunting at Kalima seven!!!

Blood Bath at K7

It was a week ago, we where civilians then, hunting at K7 is as peaceful before the Maguindanao Massacre. Until, I was asked to join a guild just to have the chance to hunt at the Land of Trials. Did not exploit such privilege for we were busy at good old Kalima 7, but something awkward happen a few days later. Some hunters were always hitting our team. Ignoring the incident as part of the game, the harassment to our team continued the following days later. And Kalima 7 hunting was never the same!

Sigh....the only reason I find with this chaotic affair, is joining a guild with a rival that has a cloud of anger skin deep!

Recently, the Land of Trials was open for everybody so as everyone who have the guts to try their luck may have the chance to acquire expensive items from the LOT. And since anyone with 300k of zen can enter the realm. A bloodbath was the show of the day!

Luckily 24 hours of hunting yielded a Vicious Pants and a few rubbish obscure shields....Hmm where did those items went??? Darn! Hearty must have took it again! T_T

The recent combination attempt had a 46% success rate with the use of two 5% talisman of luck compared to the previous attempt at about 30%, set item is +12+12 the second wing is +9+3%, unfortunately we still failed!
